New Hours Design Launched!

You spoke…we listened!

In the coming weeks we'll be rolling out a new design to our Hours section for ChapterWeb 2.0 users. To help make the transition easier we've explained the new design below.

Administrators

If you are an administrator you will see the following screen:

How to enter hours:

1. Select the date that you'd like to enter your hours for using the tabs at the top of the hours section. You'll notice that the dates start with the most current week. In order to select previous dates, you can use the left hand arrow or use the calendar icon to activate a drop down calendar on the right hand side (see item 1 above).

2. Once you've selected a date for the hours entry you'll want to select the member or members that the hours relate to. Since you are logged in as an administrator you'll notice that the members selection is blank. Start typing the name of the person in the blank field. This will auto populate a list of members that match what you've typed. Select the user that you'd like to add the hours for (see item 2 and the detailed screen shot below).

3. The next step is to select the type of hours that you are entering. For most chapters this will only include Philanthropy and League Hours (see item 3).

4. Once you've selected the type you will see a drop down showing either Philanthropies or League Activities that you'll need to associate your hours with (see item 4 and the detailed screen shot below).

5. Enter your on and/or off site hours as well as a description (see item 5).

6. Submit your hour entry.

Patroness

If you are logged in as a Patroness without administrative rights your screen will appear as below:

How to enter hours:

use the left hand arrow or use the calendar icon to activate a drop
down calendar on the right hand side (see item one above).

2. Click the checkbox of the member or members that you'd like to enter hours for (see item 7 above). As a Patroness without admin rights you'll only be able to see your related members and yourself listed.

3. The next step after selecting member (s) is to select the type of
hours that you are entering. For most chapters this will only include
Philanthropy and League Hours (see item 3).

4. Once you've selected the type you will see a drop down showing
